Will my creditor stop interest? There are a number of creditors that do reduce or completely stop interest for clients enrolled in our Debt Management Program, and there are creditors that will not. You must monitor your monthly creditor statement beginning (30) days from your first creditor payment to see that the interest rate has been changed.
